Catherine Lind's new book "I am free in a different world", is the autobiographical story of what it’s like to grow up in a family with a mentally ill mother. To understand as a child what it means when your mother is different, is a far too big an issue to be able to absorb and put into words.

Christmas candle holder

This is an easy craft where we use two ribbons to decorate a candle holder and make it look a little more like Christmas.
To do this craft you need a candle holder, or glass jar. If you use a jar or a glass not made for candles, make shore to test that the glass.

Things have changed here. I have new site, but not only that. When I migrated to this new site, I decided to merge all my websites into one. From the beginning I chose to separate my books, from videos and other interests. I thought it might be a little jarring to my readers if everything was in a big mismatch of different interests.
Imagine the day when your life is turned upside-down, you can also call it a life altering event. Something completely unexpected, that alters the life you are used to, which can only be restored by intense determination and a strong will to survive.
This is my story and you can read the first chapters here.
Yesterday was the first Advent and here in Sweden that's the start of Christmas season. When you have one foot in two different cultures you cherry pick; so the Christmas boxes came out after Thanksgiving.

Vinden ven med ett öronbedövande ljud runt huset, ett komplext och skrämmande ljud. I bakgrunden fanns ett otäckt susande som aldrig riktigt slutade. I förgrunden knakade och tjöt det i takt med att hela huset skallrade, vilket skapade ett olycksbådande dovt ljud. Vinden fick huset att kränga och vrida sig, som om det försökte skydda sig genom att röra sig i ryckiga kvidande rörelser.
